A little bit about Laurie

Laurie writes non-fiction books for 8- to 12-year-olds. She is also a book editor (find out more in Working with Words). In her spare time she enjoys canoeing, hiking, playing badminton, gardening, and exploring museums. Laurie and her husband live in Toronto and have two grown children.
